GA-P55A-UD4P 3tb Option ROM fix
#1
I just got two 3tb RAID drives and wanted to set them up in a RAID 1 mirror. It turns out my RAID option ROM on my GA-P55A-UD4P is only version 9.5.0.1037 so i can't set up the RAID. From all my research I think i need a newer version (version 10.xx something?). Can someone please mod the latest BIOS so it will recognize the 3tb drives. Here is the link to the latest original BIOS from the Gigabyte site.

http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/BIO...4p_f14.exe

Would it also be possible to mod the BIOS with SLIC 2.1 for HP OEM? The current f5 version of the BIOS im using was modded this way.

Thanks in advance!

I don't do SLIC, but it's not impossible for someone else to take the following and add SLIC for you.

Intel Matrix RAID 10.6.0.1091
JMicron JMB363 1.07.28
Realtek PXE 2.41

UNTESTED

Feel free to use/link/host any BIOS I post, no credit necessary. However, this is at your own risk and I take no responsibility. Always keep a backup of a known-good BIOS. Don't flash a motherboard if you don't have a backup computer just in case.

Always use RAID mode. RAIDFix
