Acer Z5610 phoenix bios modification

i told you about the DSDT solution and here is another excellent solution :-

First , i will ask you if you have 3pin fan connector or 4pin connector !!

2nd , here is the solution and the explain :-

fans are controlled via EC FW and the EC FW measures fan speeds then decide to turn it off , increase speed or decrease speed .

- in case that there are 3pin fan connector with fan has 3wires like this pic :-

the 3 wires will be used like this :-
1st BLACK ------ GND
2nd RED ---------- 12VDC OR 5VDC
3rd yellow ----------- FAN TECHNOMETRIC SIGNAL

the fan and the EC FW use the 3rd wire to report the fan speed and controlling its speeds .
IF YOU REMOVED THIS WIRE THEN POWER ON YOU NOTEBOOK , YOU WILL FIND FAN ALWAYS RUN AT 100% FULL SPEED ALL THE TIME .

--- In case you found that you have 4pin fan connector like this :-

then you will have these wires in the fan connector :-
1st BLACK --------- GND
2nd YELLOW -------- 12VDC
3rd GREEN ---------- SENSOR
4th BLUE ------------ FANCONTROL

IF YOU REMOVED THE BLUE AND GREEN WIRES FROM THE CONNECTOR THEN THE FANS WILL RUN AT 100% FULL SPEED ALL THE TIME .

Now , you have 2 solutions :-
1 ) modifying the DSDT to adjust the fanspeeds .
2 ) using this posted method for removing the control or techosignal wire .

this solution is 100% working and i made it in my acer 5536G and made my fan run at 100% speed .

let me knew if you need anything .

Hi mate I've got the same problem. On your picture and description of a 3-pin fan connector you advise that yellow cable is the controlling one and the other two are power ones. However you say that yellow is number 3 but on the picture it's number 2 (Middle). Which cable do I cut to turn the fan on for 100% of the time? I need it working all the time as I installed core 2 quad extreme and they like to get hot!!!

Sorry I made a mistake I just looked again and it's apparently a four pin: yellow, white, black and red. Which ones should I cut?
