[Unlocked]Insyde Bios Advanced Menu for VAIO Y

Hello!

I have a Sony VAIO VPCY2190X. It has an Intel® Core™ i5-430UM Processor (3M cache, 1.20 GHz) and an ATI Mobilty Radeon HD 4550 (512 MB GPU). As a result, the cooling fan works non-stop. The official Insyde Bios for this VAIO can be found here http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-dow...group_id=6

Could you please help out with unlocking other features in the "Advanced" menu, or any menus which would allow controlling the fan speed, or put the computer on Silent Mode?

I'm very disappointed with Sony.

If you stop the fan no matter via bios or via cutting electrical power you could burn your laptop. I think it's a risky request.

Thanks for replying. I don't want to stop the fan. I just want to control its speed if the Bios permits that.

Ok, i have made your unlocked bios, don't know if it has the options you need, but should show now 3 more menus with its options. Test and tell me. You can find it reading my signature, it's in my second folder.

Thank you for your prompt response. It did unlock so many options but there is no direct option to reduce fan speed.
