I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the "CPU Module" version mentioned in most AMI Intel bioses?
It appears to be an important part of initializing newer CPUs:
Iwill DPK66S - 5000X - V3E.01 - Clovertown Support Max
Tyan S5377 - 5100 - V3F.00 - Harpertown Support Max
Asus Z7S - 5400 - V3F.07 - Harpertown Support Max
Desktop AMI boards often having matching major version numbers for their equiivilent CPUs too; V3F = Wolfdale support on the desktop.
Does anyone know anything about this module? I've confirmed by modding my DPK66S that it is not related to Microcode.
