Requesting unlocking of Dell Dimension 4700 BIOS
#1
Are there any hidden options in my BIOS that can be unlocked or is there a way to add options like for the CPU multiplier and RAM timings? I previously modified my BIOS with SLIC 2.1 (thanks to AndyP's Phoenix SLIC Tool) and I manually added (with some help) the microcode for an ES CPU I've installed (which revealed a new option in my BIOS) but I have no idea how to unlock or add options to the BIOS.
If anyone has any idea please let me know. Phoenix BIOS Editor won't open the BIOS (No BCPs found!). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here's some more info on the BIOS in case it helps:

SMBIOS Version 2.3
BIOS Vendor: Dell Inc.
BIOS Version: A10
Size: 512 KB
Boot Devices: Floppy Disk, Hard Disk, CD-ROM, LS-120
Capabilities: Flash BIOS, Shadow BIOS, Selectable Boot, EDD, BBS
Supported Standards: DMI, APM, ACPI, PnP
Expansion Capabilities: PCI, USB

It probably doesn't matter but I think the BIOS chip is an SST49LF004B (Soldered PLCC32) because it's on the motherboard just above the CMOS jumpers. It appears on http://flashrom.org, here and here. The chip has an orange mark on it for some reason which made it difficult to read some of the text on it.

Did you have a look yet?
I think I'd like to have this option ROM too (for Plop) and also disable the BIOS shadowing or have an option to turn it off if that's possible.
Thanks mate.

Does anyone have any idea how to insert/replace a PCI option ROM in an old Dell BIOS?
