I have a pre-Dell Alienware Area 51 m15x laptop. The latest BIOS is from 2008 and is locked. I am trying to install Windows 8 but keep getting an ahci_bios_error when initializing the setup. Currently there are no options to manage the AHCI settings in the BIOS. If that can be unlocked or added it would be much appreciated.

I have attached the latest BIOS version available. If any other information is needed please let me know!
