Hi guys! I've been trying to solve a problem since yesterday, but I wasn't able resolve it, so I'm posting here to ask for your help.
I would like to unlock the bios of my notebook because I want to be able to switch on/off the option "switchable graphics" and/or "ATI crossfire", which I can't see anywhere in my bios menu.
The problem I have is that I can't get my dedicated graphics card to run, so every application runs on the integrated graphics card. I've installed Speccy, TechPowerUp GPU-Z and AMD System Monitor. All of them confirmed that the dedicated graphics card is there but it's not being used (it shows 0% utilization and 0Mhz of frequence). Both my graphics cards are ATI crossfire capable, but ATI Crossfire is disabled, and I can't find a way to enable it through bios or any other way.
I've already tried installing the updated bios versione that HP provides on their website, but I still can't see the option to enable crossfire in the bios, so I'm thinking that maybe HP is hiding some options. Can somebody help me unlock the bios, please?
These are my specs:
