Question
Can someone tell me if it's possible to insert SLIC 2.1 ?
Perhaps the BIOS from HP already contains them ? (if yes, which PK and cert should I use ?)

Thanks to anyone, great forum.

Please post a bios link and we can do the slic 2.1 mod or see if it already has 2.1 slic. Certificates are included in all of our mods and product keys can easily be found (Google Tongue)

Thank You.
I wonder if there is another way instead of SLIC that oems use.
I'll search for possible solutions in order to install Win 7.
It seems that HP is selling the same notebook/mainboard (with a differend product code) with a pre installed win7/winXP. Perhaps those products have a different bios that has SLIC inside.
If I could get that bios, I could compare them or simply flash it in my notebook.
Before flashing the bios (the hpqflash doesn't care if the version is older), the utility save a copy of the current one.
At the moment I don't know how to restore that backup, but the hp's customer care will answer.
If you get some solution, please let me know.
Thank You again
