Hello,
I want to make a slic 2.1 mod on this netbook: Acer Aspire v3-112p-P5B3 (ZHK)
This model similary to ES1-111M but this one with touch screen.
The original BIOS: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...13_A_A.zip
The BIOS .exe after extracted, contain no BIOS file. The BIOS file "isflash.bin" is maybe encoded in another files, but you can get the bios file with a little trick.
I run the extracted .exe package under Linux/Wine. After the error message i found the opened isflash.bin under Temp folder ;-)
After decapsulate the bios (BDMaster GUIDE Extract Encapsulated Bios), i was able to load the SLIC2.1 module with Andy's Phoenixtool2.66. After reread is the SLIC-mod seems to be correct.
But the bios eeprom seems to be locked :-(
InsydeFlash.exe let me only flash an original bios. if i change only 1 bit with hexedit, the flash failed.
this thread seems be similary: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...ht=es1-111
the result.rar created with "BACKUP_Tools14a": http://rghost.net/85PjlMDdP
after sleep awakened: http://rghost.net/8lRvr8dTw
Is there maybe any chance with FPT tool or trough sleep bug?
the bios file out of the .exe: http://rghost.net/8xM4WpNtl
my encapsulated bios: http://rghost.net/7xLHvLWqt
The tool "FPT Tool 1.1.1145" retrives that: http://rghost.net/6rl24KqsC
perl uefidump.pl wrote this:
"Use of uninitialized value in numeric lt (<) at uefidump.pl line 245.
Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at uefidump.pl line 69."
With "Universal IFR Extractor.exe" i got the IFR.txt: FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670_737 IFR.txt: http://rghost.net/8nDs5xtHH
What do you think, is it a chance with the FalseClock Methode? If yes, can everybody help me what a VAR i should set from this IFR file to unlock the flash process? Or even is it possible to unlock the eprom?
Is there any option without the SPI programmer?
