Request 1: Unhiding the variable 0x258. This should allow me to enable Intel iPage, which should result in a bunch of BIOS settings being unlocked.
Request 2: Having the BIOS contain a custom ME region file (here). This ME dump was created from me_cleaner and theoretically should disable Intel ME.
I think it would be a good idea to handle the unlocked BIOS settings first and then try a copy with the custom ME region.
I used to have a Acer VN7-572G and had a fun adventure getting a custom BIOS working for it (thread). Perhaps the same knowledge could prove useful for this laptop?

I also have a hardware flasher and should be able to provide a full SPI dump if needed. Assuming Intel's flash tool identifies my chip correctly, it's a W25Q64FV, which should be fine in flashrom and my 8-pin SOIC clip.
