Hello everyone.
First I introduce myself. I am new to this forum and I registered for the purpose of asking for help and of course to learn from here onwards.
First of all I would like to first apologize if I use the wrong forum (although I think it is the right one).
Ok, let's go with the question.
The purpose of this thread is to ask for help regarding an HP Notebook
Pavilion TX1000 with a BIOS PHOENIX Version F.20
The reason for my query is to know if it is possible to modify said BIOS to integrate ahci mode and Fan RPM Control.
I currently have a SSD Samsung 850 EVO 250GB but because I do not have the ahci mode the performance is very poor (80MB/s) moving files inside the SSD (Windows 7 OS). Something curious that I see is that the SSD (that reiterates it works and I have W7 installed in the) the SSD is not detected neither by the samsung magician nor by Crystaldiskinfo.
I understand that the latter is due to the absence of ahci mode (the SSD is in GPT)
I know that being Sata 2 speed is limited to (between 300MB/s) but still the speed difference should be noted (from 80MB/s to 300MB/s).
So I would like to know if it is possible to incorporate a BIOS MOD to integrate the ahci mode.
Another option I would like to have is the posivilidad to regulate the speed of the FAN because at maximum load the AMD TURION X2 arrives at 83ÂșC
First of all thank you for your help.
I would also like to apologize if there is any error of understanding (I am Spanish).
Regards
