I'd like to have the whitelist setting of my PHOENIX BIOS/UEFI (Ver. R05ET71W (1.49) ) for Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 460 removed:

WiFi Card inst.: Intel Dual-Band AC 8260NGW (whitelisted)
WiFi-PCIe-ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_24F3&SUBSYS_11308086&REV_3A
BIOS ver.: 1.49
BIOS-RSA: not RSA signed**

** as far as I am concerned, lmk how to check if you have doubts for this model.

- I understood that I will have to use a EEPROM programming tool such as [ LINK ], is this still appropriate/working?
- Is it correct that the whitelist will be disabled for any PCIe component(or only WiFI/WWAN)? I plan to use an eGPU on the M.2 socket.
