Looking to unlock the stock BIOS on a Dell Studio XPS 8100.

I am looking to unlock the BIOS to overclock the i7-870 processor (which is very overclockable).  I've successfully overclocked using the SetFSB Utility, but those changes are temporary and I want to make changes permanent through the BIOS.

I was successful in extracting the ROM file and updating the Intel RST Option ROM on this same BIOS, so I know the BIOS can be disassembled and components extracted from it.  (Using AMI MMTool 3.26 and AMIBIOS AFUWINx64)

I tried a BIOS Recovery using the latest Intel .BIO file for a DH57DD mainboard, but nothing happened.

If uploading the original extracted BIOS would help, I can add it to this post.
