Hi guys!
I have an old TYAN server motherboard - TYAN Thunder n3600B S2927-E (S2927A2NRF-E)
I have some trouble with setup of SSD NVMe Transcend MTE 850.
Sounds crazy but I want a little upgrade for comfortable work in Win10 and in a few 3D programs.
I bought a special NGFF Adapter for M.2 NVMe to motherboards w / PCIe (Gen1, Gen2, Gen3)X4.
Manufacturer guaranteed that this Adapter supports PCIe Gen 1-3 motherboards.
But it doesn't work. Bios doesn't see this device.
I think the problem is in the bios. The latest bios version installed - File Date: 2009 / 06 / 17
Looks like this bios doesn't allow my motherboard to "see" any device except videocards.
Can you help me or give some advices, maybe someone installed NVMe into this m/board ?????
I don't want to use existing SATA, because it's SATA II, so in this case I'll get a weak effect.
Cheers!
