Hello folks,
I’m new on the forum.
I’m trying to figure out how to integrate the GPU Bios into motherboard BIOS with PhoenixTool (OpROM?, etc.).
My goal is to have the GPU ATI FirePro M4000 [from an HP laptop] working on my Acer Aspire 8940g.
I read here that the ATI FirePro M4000 should work plug-n-play for Acer Aspire 8940g, but only if GPU has BIOS Dell.
My ATI FirePro M4000 is from an HP laptop and I assume this is why it is not working as soon as plugged.
So now my intention is to integrate the ATI FirePro M4000 Dell BIOS (I downloaded from Dell) into Motherboard BIOS and "bypass" any other BIOS that is currently on the GPU.
I found here that is possible to integrate GPU BIOSes into Motherboard BIOSes (Phoenix), but I found it explained only with Phoenix Editor (which doesn’t work in my case, as PhoenixEditor too old), and dunno how to do with PhoenixTool
Bonus: since it is available, my best goal would be to integrate the Dell GPU BIOS into the Motherboard BIOS already modded by AHMED HOSSAM for Aspire 8940g, that I’ve found out here
Any help on how to work with PhoenixTool, Dell-ATI.ROM and MOD.WLH ?
(read: any hint / link to some all-in-one guide tutorial how to mod BIOS, OpROM, etc.?)
Thanks
