EDIT: After playing with it some more it's working now, it wasn't for 4 hours...
Laptop Manufacturer: Toshiba
Product Line: Satellite
Model Number: L675 -06J
Part Number: PSK3EC-06J013
Bios Type: Phoenix
System Bios Version: 2.30
Bios File from Toshiba: https://content.us.dynabook.com/content/support/downloads/hambe10g_windowsbios_v2.30.exe
Original WiFi Card: Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8172&SUBSYS_818410EC&REV_10
New WiFi Card: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
The new card is available in Windows/Linux but is hard blocked by the "WiFi Switch" rfkill in Linux shows hard-blocked. Toggling the WiFI switch (FN+F8) on the keyboard toggles the soft block in Linux/Windows and does not resolve the issue. Bluetooth is working however.. Bypassing the "switch" by taping PIN 20 does not help.
At this point I'd have to assume it's most likely a whitelist of some sort, I understand this is an older system, we are upgrading it a little bit so it can be re-purposed instead of becoming scrap!
Thanks!
