Hi all,
I'm sorry in advance if I'm in the wrong sub-forum (i suspect I am, although there didn't appear to be an appropriate subforum for my question). Apologies again if my question has been answered already. I have an Acer Aspire V5-472 that I suspect has a corrupted bios. There may be more wrong with it, I rescued it from the garbage bin! I have ordered a CH341a programmer to reprogram the bios, and I have the .fd file from Acer.
My question is, how can flash the .fd with the CH341a? Is there a conversion that needs to occur to make a binary file from the .fd? is the .fd encrypted in some way?
Any help or guides to read would be welcome,
Ivan
