I have Chinese PC with Core i5 8259U processor. The bios is locked, some options missed in "Advanced" tab. TPM 2.0 switch is not available, though CPU has it's own TPM module. BIOS can be dumped just fine with FPTW64 version 12.
The problem is, I am not sure that it is safe to flash BIOS or not. And I don't have ability to recover it if something goes wrong. I've disassembled my PC to verify BIOS chip (to buy BIOS programmer kit) and didn't find it - probably it is on the other side of motherboard with CPU. For now I decided to postpone flashing BIOS until someone check if it's safe or not. Can someone help me with that?
