[REQUEST] X99 Deluxe II 4x4x4x4 Bifurcation

I am looking for a bios mod that splits a 40 lane CPU with PCIe1 at 4x4x4x4

I have tried the Grub method using the following:

setup_var IntelSetup 0x537 0x0

Which was generously given to me by a user here. But unfortunately I was not able to make it function properly. While the changes are written, they don't seem to be applied. I do understand this is a boot time mod and not a permanent mod like uefi edit.
