i am trying to install ubuntu 64bit on this laptop.. it keeps crashing half way threw booting up..
i believe the issue is the cpu fan not being switched on and the cpu overheating and protecting the system with shutdown..

i have no operating system installed on this laptop. Not able to get anything too boot up in live mode..
i did get an old version of linux mint 18 runing in live mode but i can't not duplicate it..
it something to do with boot in legacy mode and switching off uefi/efi boot mode..
how do i upgrade the bios on this computer without windows installed.
I have tried a number of different version of Windows PE , none them get very far into booting..
I have done memory check and the RAM passed memtest.
it seems to like 32bit versions of linux which get a bit further into booting..
i have tried booting into safe mode..
