Hello. I want to modify some hidden bios settings and was ready to use Grub and I received the dreaded "Unable to write data" message, which I understand to mean that my Bios is write protected. I've heard that there are people who can assist with unlocking or creating a custom Bios for this purpose. Any info would be greatly appreciated, and if you are someone who can assist, please reach out. I still want to keep my current Bios settings as is, but would like to access the hidden Bios settings.

Hi, I had the same problem with many asus x99 mb, the only way I manage to flash custom bios is with AFUDOS, you have to create a bootable usb with afudos and the bios you want to flash. Be sure to enable CSM.
