Hello everyone,
I have Acer Predator Helios 500 PH517-51-79BY(NH.Q3NEG.001).
After opening, cleaning and repasting thermal paste, I could no longer boot into it.
The boot screen is stuck and also the BIOS was resetted when I booted this time after repasting.
The screen turns on, but no keys work and there used to be a predator logo which doesn't appear anymore. While assembling the laptop, I have accidentally inserted my screwdriver in wrong hole which has motherboard underneath it and which has shorted some circuit, I guess this must have caused it.
Here is the video of the boot error.
I have managed to read the BIOS using CH314A programmer and Neoprogrammer, I am attaching the bios bin file
Helios_GD25Q127C.bin (Size: 16 MB / Downloads: 0) .
The BIOS chip is Gigadevice 25B127DSIG, GD25Q127C detected in Neoprogrammer.
Can anyone check if this BIOS is corrupted and un-corrupt it. Also attached the BIOS exe installer from OEM(acer) for grabbing original bin file.
I will donate, if my problem is solved.
