[Request] Leonovo g45-50 whitelist removal
#1
Hi everyone,

I'm attempting to remove a whitelist from my Lenovo laptop following this guide: https://medium.com/@p0358/removing-wlan-...033a5a5e5a

I've tried modifying the BIOS file using various versions of UEFITools, but none of them seem to work. I also attempted hex editing with IDA and HxD, but unfortunately, none of these methods produced the desired results.

The issue escalated when I modded the BIOS, resulting in a boot loop with no display output. Reverting to the original BIOS brought the laptop back to a functional state.

I'm working with an AMD version of the laptop.

I attach my bios dump file.

I would greatly appreciate any insights or assistance you can provide to help me overcome this hurdle. Thanks in advance!

Hi
It's RSA signed bios, it cannot be modified in any way.
