I have an older Toshiba T135D-S1324 that I want to update the BIOS for. Official Dynabook site doesn't even have the BIOS v1.90 anymore, but I found it hosted on another site. So now it's time to flash (this was apparently an EMERGENCY UPDATE).
I am trying to read the Winbond 25X80AVSIG Chip with my CH341A programmer, but I can't even detect the chip. Have Tried AsProgrammer, Colibri, and a few other flavors (not FlashRom though). Have flashed 4 other laptops in the past few days...so I know how to hook things up. The chip (W25X80AV) even shows up in the software repos, so I have no idea what's wrong. Any suggestions?
Board model and chip are pictured.
