Hello everyone! I must say this site has a ton of good resources, I have learned a lot reading through the forums for the last couple of days. I'm glad I found it!
I've been trying to unlock the BIOS (PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0) on my HP Pavilion 7865 motherboard (A7V-VM - VIA KT133A Chipset) to see if there are any hidden options that would help me upgrade to a faster CPU than the one that came with the board. I've read on other forums that the Asus A7V-VM (equivalent to an A7V133-VM?) should be able to handle up to a XP 2100+, but there are a couple different models of the board that HP came out with, and I haven't found anything specific pertaining to my model (Tahiti).
Anyways:
Here is a link to the BIOS
Here are the specs on the motherboard
Please let me know if you need any other information and I really appreciate any help I can get on this, Thanks!
