Editing the DSDT in Phoenix/Dell BIOSes

I've read somewhere that someone tried to edit the DSDT for a Phoenix BIOS to try to add SLi certification, which is what I want to do. The problem he encountered is that the the compressed module that contains it won't compress. I recently installed two nVidia GPUs in my notebook system, but SLi is disabled because there is no certification for it. So, with all the recent discoveries, updated BIOS editors, etc., is it possible to edit/add stuff to the DSDT in Phoenix BIOSes?

DSDT can be edited , but i have to look for more information about SLI CERTIFICATION as i hasn`t looked into this before .

OP states that he had problems inserting the certificate in the DSDT table of the phoenix BIOS because of compression issues, but that was in 2009. Not sure if any progress has been made on Phoenix BIOS editing, though another post said it was possible...

It's for a Laptop, the Alienware M17x-R2. The GPUs are two nVidia GTX 580Ms (bought them separately and installed them). The BIOS (which has already been modified) is here:

Re-integrating modified DSDT is still a challenge. By trimming & removing some unused codes, it is possible but this require analyzing the codes which is a bit difficult if the computer is not...well, in front of me. If I'm not mistaken, there is an alternative. Instead modifying the DSDT, you can use SLI patch. Just need to install the patch in windows & you're good to go.

I tried using the SLi patch (all versions) and no luck. I even tried using the SLi string installer and I got an error that said I couldn't insert the string. I remember the author saying that the SLi patch has issues on P55 and P67/H67 chipsets and since the R2 uses a PM55 (mobile version of the P55 chipset), I figured the only way would be to integrate the string into the BIOS.
