Lenovo X120E Whitelist Removal Request [BIOS 1.16]
#1
Lenovo has released a new Bios version 1.16 and I was wondering if anyone had removed the whitelist from this Bios yet?

I am looking to upgrade my X120E to a new wireless card but I'm already on Bios v1.14 and I couldn't find a way to downgrade to apply the 1.14 whitelist removed bios.

If anyone knows how to remove the bios I would be willing to donate. Or if someone can tell me how to downgrade my bios so I can put the 1.14 update on it that would be great.

Bios Link: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj09us.exe

Thank You for your responses

Create a file named PFLASH.RSP in the same folder of flashing utility and into it jus put with text editor -sa

Just that three characters into the rsp file and try flashing again the nonwhitelisted bios.

BIOS REPOSITORY.Please consider donating (me or forum) if you like my work.
Please remember to come back and leave feedback. I hate leech and disappear thing.

Nice day.
Camilo.

Thanks for the quick reply camiloml, I tried doing that but when I run the WINUPTP.EXE it still says I have the latest bios. I also tried just running the winflash.exe from the BIOS zip file (100% TP_X120e_8fuj07us_NWL_ByCamiloml.exe) and the winflash.exe gets to Analyse bios image... and it just freezes saying "WinFlash for UEFI has stopped working" on Windows 7.

Might I have the wrong version of your No White List? Any Help?

Thanks for the responses.

I did some more digging and found a post over at another site for the newest bios with no white list applied to it.

It's at http://forums.mydigitallife.info on the forum Remove-whitelist-check-add-ID-s-to-break-hardware-restrictions-mod-requests at page 175.

Thanks.
