Hello...
I am fairly new to this this Forum and i may not be the best or great technology expert but, i am what you would call "Jack of all trades, Master of none"
so i am very knowlegable in much (not all) of the technology out there.
You seem to be asking for an Insyde BIOS Flash Update/Upgrade to take you to SLIC 2.1... Am i correct?
If so then I understand what your asking but, the update is within the BIOS update and from what i found, F.65 is the latest update.
Your last computer model BIOS update only programed the SLIC 2.0.
My system is a G60-635DX and i also have an Insyde BIOS is version F.65 but, my SLIC is 2.1 which is boggling compared to yours which shares the version but not the SLIC.
So (to me), it doesn't look like you are in search of a BIOS Upgrade/Update (since the SLIC is affected with the BIOS updates) but, some other update in itself that affects the SLIC to reflect the 2.1.
This is possible maybe somewhere within this forum or with the right key words within a search engine but, be very careful not to render your
BIOS inoperable.
To be honest, i actually have seen but, never looked to updating the SLIC itself and all i can offer is some info from my system in hopes to help in your search.
To add... I would reccomend anyone to get a program called AIDA64 at www.AIDA64.com. I get all my detailed information (like the info below),
links to company sites, real-time information, etc... This is the best program (amongst the namy other's i have tried and trashed).
I extracted the information (Below) from a program called AIDA64. This info was within a ton of info the program provides but, I added a few definitions just in case you were wondering:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Category: Motherboard
* Table: SLIC (System License Internal Code) - > The SLIC is a portion of the system BIOS that is dedicated to containing operating system
license activation information.
- > Basically the process of activating an operating system with information preloaded onto the
SLIC is called OEM activation.
* Field: ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) -> The ACPI allows the operating system to fully control the configuration of hardware
devices and their power management.
ACPI Table Properties:
ACPI Signature ---------- SLIC
Table Description ------- Software Licensing Description Table
Memory Address ---------- BBBED000h
Table Length ------------ 374 bytes
OEM ID ------------------ HPQOEM
OEM Table ID ------------ SLIC-MPC

I hope this was helpful.
Enjoy :o)...
