[REQUEST] Lenovo Y50-70 (9ECNxxWW) Whitelist Removal
Dear BDMaster,

may you also help me with using my new wifi card in my new Lenovo Y50-70?
I would be very thankful, if you could unlock the advanced bios features and remove the whitelist for me.

Here are my results with BIOS V2.01: https://www.sendspace.com/file/e4u6tj
And here after downgrade to V1.13: https://www.sendspace.com/file/xj9vnq

Thank you very much for your help! Smile

Hi there,
I was lucky to be among the first to get a modded bios from bdmaster when I got my y50 (1.13). I haven't upgraded so far.
Any compelling reason to move to 2.01? I wish the lenovo bioses had more unlocked settings in the first place...
Cheers

I also don't get the point why someone should block BIOS features that are already implemented...

Hi,

I patched the BIOS, but this is the third time i did this!
If you want to try it, be sure that the Bios Recovery (see in my signature) is working for you and prepare a stick with the old bios!
Your recovery filename is ZIVY2.bin

http://rghost.net/8j4HKjK2s

Please give feedback.
Greetings

ZabbensX

Befor flash, check this recovery procedur: https://www.bios-mods.com/bios-recovery/...-recovery/ when this is working, you are able to recover a broken bios!
Don't flash Bios if you receive a warning or error!
You flash on your own risk! - I am also new to this.
