Eventhough this setting exists, I've never seen anyone successfuly get EFI working perfectly on one of these older HP laptops. Insyde and HP decided to remove a lot of EFI functionality. And try to come back to this forum during the next couple of days. I have one more thing I want you to test regarding RSA bios modding. Hopefully this test will be able to dtell us if the signature verification check is in the PEI or DXE region of the rom
Hi, it looks like necropost but is there any chance that this bios files stil availible? I have hp g6 with 1670model motherbord. Installed different wifi card AR5B95 instead of BCM4313, as result - "wireless module not supported" and "wlan module id (702)". Downgraded bios from f.42 down to f.24, phoenix'ed it, found in dump files code 14e4 4727 1483103c (bcm) and replace with 168c 002b 663111ad (ar) but bios does not install nor via insydeflash not thru usb=win+b. One last hope that atleast whitelist versions can work..
Please, help.
