I have a Vaio VPCCB3S1E (CPU upgraded to i7 2820QM, 1TB SSD+5TB HDD, 16GB RAM, Windows 11 24H2 in Legacy mode -done with RUFUS-, Ver. R2100V2, further updates are by me unknown.)

I tried a 2242 NVME SSD on its MiniPCIE slot, it worked as a PCI 2.0 1x port, which is 40% faster than the SATAIII interface.
My second question is by unlocking the FW allows me that booting my laptop from the EFI partition on the SSD or I need some indirect way such as Bootcamp?

Looking forward for your replies, if you had any question about the HW used in my project or feel inspired, I'll provide you with all the information I can.
