All right, I PMed the original requester from notebookreview forums, and will report back
as soon as I get positive/negative feedback from him.
I've already opened the machine several times, but never really paid any attention to
the Bios chip, so I don't even know on which side of the mainboard it is on, and
whether it is easily replaceable (socketed) or soldered onto the mainboard.
If it is socketed I'll probably order a preflashed chip from a good service I know.

Edit: I found another post from this user, referencing you, and suggesting that there's no problem with using this Bios.

"The only thing I can think of is to ask kizwan if he can mod it for you (he activates hidden bios features in many bioses, including the one I'm using - clevo M570RU). Post in this thread if you want to try him."
