Using CodeRush tool looks interesting too as a better way to automate the process.
It might be a good idea to patch the error text as a way to verify the flash was sucessful.
Did you flash without removing the chip?
I completely replaced the chip. Because the only way I have of doing it destroys the original IC (well, still possible to connect to a programmer, but not able to be soldered to the board again). And unless I order more, I only have one left.
