Select the FPT folder, hold shift + Right click, choose open command window here (Or use shortcut included), then run the following command
FPTw.exe -bios -f Initial.rom

If you receive error about not having access to BIOS region, you will have to use this method to enable flash and unlock the BIOS region.
You can start at step 6, variable from steps 1-5 I have gathered for you already here >> 0xA11

This has a few simple changes made with AMIBCP, meant as test only to see how much AMIBCP can enable at the root level, and what else I have to use other methods to enable.
Anything new may be empty, and there may be duplicates of sections that have different contents. This is not meant to be a mod BIOS, only a quick test, since I cannot test myself real quick before moving forward.

Please let me know, do you see new Advanced, Chipset and Boot sections, if yes, show me images from within any new sections. If no new sections, or new section is empty it's OK, this is only meant as quick test, so I can see which if any get enabled at the root level via this method since it's easy vs having to use a more involved method for others. Sometimes this method can enable many sections, while a few others like chipset usually take more involved methods. Always best for me to check easiest way first before moving forward, and since I don't have this system, sorry but you will have to test for us for now

Please be advised, that this is laptop PC. So I don't quite sure understand how USB Flashback works - I found only mention about Crisis BIOS Recovery via Ctrl + Home.

So if anybody acknowledged about this case -> please let me know.

If I see that required option is ENABLED (example: I need to enable XMP profile on DDR4 memory) - it's ok to modify the variables?

You mentioned XMP in PM, what do you see when you click on the memory item/box from the GUI interface with all the images (EZ mode)
Is there settings shown then, even if grayed out let me know. I mention this, because even if we can't unlock your BIOS, I can adjust settings behind the scenes without issue, this in particular can be changed

For the above, if you want me to just make a single change for you so you don't have to walk through a BIOS mod process as I enabled things more and more so you can access all settings, let me know if you are sure which XMP Profile you want enabled and I can do that in a one byte BIOS mod change, takes one second to change. Check with HWinfo64, AIDA64, or maybe even CPU's SPD Tab, and see which XMP Profile you want to enable (Pay attention to what they all say, are named etc, SPD Profiles are not XMP profiles and cannot be used when enabling an XMP profile)

As mentioned in PM, crisis stuff may not be Asus, I've never seen that but it could be new or renamed? Did you read it about Asus? Anyway, no need to stress about that now or worry trying to find, you may never need to know, worry about that later if it ever happens. I will look up if your model has USB Flashback since you seem to be veering onto other things not related to that at all, I didn't mention it for recovery although that is one of it's features.

This sounds GREAT! Please take a look on 1st page pics I've posted inititally. I see this option in Award Config Tool, so if there really little this work - it will be great iff you just push default value for XMP Profile 1.

I'll do analysis and post you pics from HWInfo64.


Please look at particular option that I might believe that should be used, and value that I need to run my memory fine.

YOu need to check HWInfo64 first, and make sure XMP Profile 1 is the one you want.

I do not need to see AMIBCP Images, if that is the only setting change you need (Memory profile from default/default to default=XMP1) AMIBCP is not involved at all.

I believe (assume), that XMP Certified is (XMP Profile 1), and XMP Extreme (XMP Profile 2). As I see - they kind a familiar.

I will also take a look on my default stick profiles.

That AIDA64 cut, only shows one XMP profile, so that may be all there is. (The 18-18-18-43)
Check to confirm here in AIDA64, further down on that same section you showed, underneath memory timings



Also, check with CPU-z, in SPD Tab, do you see one or more XMP?
HWInfo will show it too, on the small CPU-z like window on right (Second to last column beside voltage is XMP)
And on left side of large window, pick a memory module and scroll to the middle and bottom for XMP profiles.

Cool, looks like both are there! For you to change the setting I mentioned is easy, no BIOS flashing is required, only thing you need to do is to boot to grub and change the setting.
This way you do not have any worries about a bad BIOS flashing experience, nor have to worry about recovery!

Get a USB Stick, formatted to FAT32, and put this file on the root of USB (ie not in any folders)
