Please, can you say me if the new bios release can enable the internal vga card (actually greyed out if you have installed another vga) ?

Please help me:
entering in Integrated Peripherals menu, the item "Onboard Graphics Controller" (Disabled/Enabled) is grey and I can't choose to enable the onboard vga. If I choose to use Primary Video onboard from dhe Advanced chipset Features, the Onboard Graphic Controlled becomes enabled, but the pci-e vga card is not functioning.
Is it possibile to mod the bios so I can use the onboard vga and the pic-e vga cards togheter? (I need to connect three monitors)
I hope you can help me.

Sorry for the delay ive been quite busy outside this site!

I have edited the mod id already done to set the Onboard Grpahics Controller from "Shaded" to "show" so it should now be editable Smile

Flash at your own risk!

Thank you very much for your work, I've installed your bios release, now I can enable the onboard vga even if I have installed a pcie vga card, but unfortunatly, the pc recognize only one card at time..maybe is this related to a motherboard limitation?

Of course it recognizes only one, it's a chipset limitation, not the motherboard. For what purposes do you want two videocards?

I need two videocards because I use three or four monitor (for quote stocks data).
I have another pc with an integrated nvidia vgacard on motherboard and I can use it toghether with a pci-e nvidia gt220 card, so I was thinking also s3810 could run two vgacard.
I can add another vga card on s3810, but I see only a little slot on the motherboard (like a mini pci-e or something similar)...Have I to use this slot for another vgacard?

If it is not an intensive graphical use you can use a PCI-graphicscard...
I don't know any card that is working in the small PCIe 1x!

Sometimes you just have to try to be sure it is not working...

No, it isn't a intensive use, but on the s3180 motherboard, there is only a small pcie slot and no more..I try to search some cards on the web..Confused

The easiest way to solve the issue is to find a card with the number of monitor ports that you need. They tend to have three and some have 4. AMDs Eyefinity series (5770 being the cheapest) have 6.

I get what you want. Another way would be finding a PCI card (or a PCI-E 1x - they are rare but do exist) or cutting the right border of PCI-E 1x slot which prevents you from inserting a full size (PCI-E 16x) card. Some boards have an open PCI-E slot for these purposes.

And yes, it might be possible to use it along with your integrated video. I'll ask Intel guys.

Thanks for your support. It is very difficult to find a pci-e vgacard 1x..Thus,I have to change the nvidia gt-320 with an AMD radeon.
But before buying a new vga card, can you tell if is there a way to use my integrated video?
