So i will have to talk over my bios guy to first flash the modded one and to tryout the notebook, and if the 104 error occurs OR if it does not start at all he got to flash the slic2,1 "known good" bios.

Just to satisfy my paranoia:

@Palych, can you confirm 100% that the rapidshare slic2,1 is the exact bios that worked for you
AND
@admin: you used exactly that image frompalych, not a slic 2,1 from another source, right ?

To satisfy my curiousity:
@admin: if you care to write how exactly you modded the bios i would feel less stupid and other could learn too. I used the phoenix editor frompalych and hex edited the BIOSCOD1.ROM file with a trusted hexeditor in that intermediate temp folder of the PBE as descibed elsewhere...
Then i changed and rechanged a string value in PBE to enable the "build rom" option and saved the new rom.

To mention it again, my hairs raised for all those errors of PBE but i felt safe because i thought all phoenix biosses have a recovery bootstrap.
BOY WAS I WRONG :-)

i am just unpacking your whitelist-modded-slic21...
is the file "COMPAQHP-HPQOEM-2.0.XRM-MS" important ?
I do not want to confuse my bios guy without need :-)

COMPAQHP-HPQOEM-2.0.XRM-MS is just the old v2.0 HP certificate file which is used to activate later. You dont need to give this the bios guy

and the HP 2.0 works for SLIC 2.1 , they never made a 2.1 cert

I have two tc1100 with different prosessors - 1,2 ghz and 1 ghz. 1 ghz tablet was flashed to the modded 2,1 slic bios and I confirm that bios is good, I am writing this post from that 1 ghz tc1100.
1,2 ghz tc1100 I have was waterdameged but some attamps to boot it was succsesfull I flashed that tablet. So my be the tablet was bad not bios of1234s282

Hi all
I have successfully mod white list of my tc1100 tablet. My bios now supports TP-LINK TL-WN 861 N wireless card instead of Intel wm3b2200bg and it is already has slic 2.1 table, so no problem with Windows 7 ultimate “oem” activation. TL-WN 861 N is not the best card for tc1100 - it is too big and I have to isolate it from motherboard and wifi card compartment cover but it is working and tc1100 boots normally. Soon I will describe how I did it. Here you can find my bios:

flash it on your tc1100 on your own risk but it works for me.
