T7700 support on Acer TravelMate 7730 & Acer Extensa 7230
#21
It looks like CPU-Z is indicating 'Phoenix'-BIOS and BIOS itself is indicating AMI-BIOS....
(I re-checked CPU-Z and picto I sent is indeed the info CPU-Z gives on this system).

Interesting...

(probably wrong indication by CPU-Z?)

Don't try to fool me. This screenshot is made on other laptop.
Make BIOS backup by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.

Apologies.

I made a mistake.
Too many hours of work this week.

I'm going to sleep now first.
And continue tomorrow.

(will make back-up of BIOS)(and send that file to you as an attachement?)

What's second laptop?

The second laptop is running OK. Is a Asus K50IJ that I also upgraded with same T7700 CPU (thus the mistake I made..).

When downloading the BIOS back-up took I get blocking by the virusscanner.
I can stop the virusscanner, but dont know if that tool-file is corrupt offcourse.

Do you have safe version there. Or safe link to download?

OK. BIOS backup isn't needed anymore. Just flash ZY2L3821.wph on corresponding laptop.

No: I did the flash on the correct laptop. Also used the instructions precisely. Then got that error message (after few seconds of running).
(mistake I made was sending the wrong photo of BIOS-screen).

So we still need BIOS backup.
Can you give safe link?

Flash official BIOS 3821 at first.

I did.
But during flash, it got stuck now (please see attached screenshot)
(laptop maintaining in last phase of writing new BIOS).

Running BIOS-flash this way worked fine so far, on this same laptop.

What to do now?
(if I shut down the laptop by hard power-down (pressing the 'off'-button 5 secs) the new BIOS probably is not complete...?)
