Bad news guys...

Yesterday tried to flash the BIOS downloaded from the web and told me that the version was the same I have in the laptop, so I've modified the INI file to force the BIOS upgrade and now the laptop does not boot up...

Tried to recover with WIN+B or WIN+F but it seems dead.

I have a ch341a programmer so I would like to confirm with you If I can flash the binary file I've provided to you in the sendspace, or I need an original BIN from the manufacturer... Can you confirm me that?

Thanks.

The key word is "version", not the platform. So, you shouldn't have done this.

No, you uploaded just the part of the firmware that is needed for modifications. But don't worry, TODAY I'll manage to give you the full binary file, keeping serial data of your laptop.

Here you go.
-original bios: spqcv200.exe
-your bios mod: bone5559.bin

You are going to use the programmer, so I do not need to upload the bios file to be flashed with fpt. I also updated microcodes and other things, and if the laptop fails to boot because of this, I can remove the updates.

so, which bios should I flash with the programmer, the "bone5559.bin" or should I try to extract the bin file from the EXE?

I think it's the .bin file, but it's just to confirm

Hello Guys,

I can confirm that the laptop is up and running now. Will be testing for a few days to see if with modified BIOS it solves the shutdown problem.

I can see now a lot of new stuff in BIOS menu.

Thanks for all your help
