Just wanted to add, before trying the flash drive restore, if you have HP_TOOLS partition on your hard drive, you can just hold Win Key+B then turn on the computer. Then just let it do its thing. Of course this is assuming you haven't renamed it also.
I always keep a copy of HP_TOOLS with a backup BIOS for emergencies.

I don' t have HP_TOOLS partition on my hard drive.

ok, iv'e tryed something.

i extracted 01658.bin with Andy's tool .

went into DUMP folder and searched the biggest file (it's filename is : FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670_2_444.ROM)

i opened it with Hex workshop 6 and finded that "FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670_2_444.ROM" is part of setup utility and founded that there is several options, Like "S.w.i.t.c.h.a.b.l.e. .G.r.a.p.h.i.c.s. .M.o.d.e...S.e.l.e.c.t. .s.w.i.t.c.h.a.b.l.e. .g.r.a.p.h.i.c.s. .s.c.h.e.m.e" ; "O.v.e.r.C.l.o.c.k.i.n.g...M.e.n.u" ; "O.v.e.r.C.l.o.c.k. .S.u.p.p.o.r.t...E.n.a.b.l.e./.D.i.s.a.b.l.e" ; "M.e.m.o.r.y. .F.r.e.q.u.e.n.c.y. .S.e.l.e.c.t.i.o.n.s. .i.n. .M.h.z...1.0.6.7...1.3.3.3...1.6.0.0...1.8.6.7...2.1.3.3." multiple voltage controls and so on.

now i search hardly that, how i can force them to be visible in BIOS?!?

Gee, HP sold off its PC department... Who would have thought that one day, someone over there would actually read some of the complain mails I've sent them .

Anyway, camiloml: Thanks, your whitelist patch sort of works ... However the wireless is acting up strangely, the LED and the WLAN button does not work and the replacement cards [tried a generic IWL 6200, IWL6205, Killer N-1102 and crappy AR9285 out of an Asus laptop] are all dropping connections randomly and I tried everything I can think of:
- installed a fresh Win7 on a clean HDD with an original Win7 OEM disc
- using only original and up-to-date vendor drivers from their websites
- used u.fl pigtails to connect the card to an external antenna
- put the laptop closer to the routers
- tried several different routers from different manufacturers
[Netgear, Linksys, TP-Link and one from Cisco]
but nothing worked.

However as soon as I put one of the cards in my old Asus notebook they work as expected [hold connection, wlan button works and the LED].. And this includes even that [censored] broadcom that came out of the dv6.
