Lenovo B490
Phoenix UEFI BIOS : H1ET75WW (1.18 )
Embedded Controller Version : H1EC33WW (1.13)
Hello. I bought an aftermarket battery for my grandfathers Lenovo B590 and the laptop says it's not on the whitelist. Can this be removed so I could use non original battery?
Laptop Model: Lenovo B590 (20208) UEFI Bios version: H1ET73WW (1.16) Embedded Controller Version: H1EC33WW (1.13) BIOS Date: 04/10/2013 BIOS Dump from Universal_BIOS_Backup_ToolKit_2.0:LENOVO-H1ET73WW(1.16) BIOS Info From Backup ToolKit 2.0: IMAGE BIOS Screen from laptop: IMAGE
If there is a need to back up the bios with BACKUP_Tools19 or fpt v8 could you please PM me the links to these programs or something? I tried to google for them but couldn't find anything. Thank you very much in advance.

"Battery whitelist" does not exist...the control of the battery is carried out by the EC

So.... this is impossible to circumvent / get around? No way to use non-genuine battery on B590?
