Seriously? Wow, they really don't want you to use a cheaper wifi card, do they?
The flashing shouldn't be too much of a problem, but for the hassle I might just shell out 30 bucks and get a working card from ebay.
Stupid 'protection'...

Hello community,
currently I am stuck within the whitelist of the Lenovo T440p. In a thread here in the forum I read something about a bug in some
models and BIOSes in the T440-series but unfortunately no luck.
The notebook runs with the BIOS 2.34 (GLUJ24US) / 2.34 (GLET80WW)
Newer BIOSes are available for the device, lastest is 2.39.
[Question removed]
Flashing only possible with SPI-programmer+SOIC8 (Many thanks to Dudu2002)
Ordered yesterday both, the clip and the CH341A SPI programmer
Uploaded Bios dump from version 2.34 of Lenovo T440p
Uploaded image with the location chip of the chip on the mainboard
I hope some of you guys could help me and many THANKS in advance.
Thanks to Dudu2002 he managed to get things working :exclamation:

models and BIOSes in the T440-series but unfortunately no luck.
The notebook runs with the BIOS 2.33 (GLUJ22US) / 2.33 (GLET79WW) -> BIOS 2.33
Newer BIOSes are available for the device, lastest is 2.39.
If a dump of the actual running system is needed I will provide the data as soon as possible (Debian running)
Two little questions at the end.
Do I have to flash the modded version via SOIC programmer or is it possible to do that with the DOS phlash?
I hope some of you guys could help me and many THANKS in advance.

Will a ezpro2010, tl866cs, or prog 120 GQ-5x work jsut the same for flashing? Some dont support voltage down to 1.3 and im not sure what this chip uses.
