[REQUEST] HP Pavilion dv7-3000 (Intel) BIOS Unlock
#51
I did that already. It said "Recovery filenames are:" -> E.BI?, C.BI?, C.BI? (same with both files)

I tried "A.BIN", "E.BIN", "C.BIN",... nothing worked

Edit: I think i might need the original HP_TOOLS partition for this model if any1 still has it. Maybe there is *.SIG file in there ?

Hi! If I'm not mistaken, signature for these BIOS is no. I suggesting to you flash it with HW Programmer if you have. It the best method. I  found it in Ebay. Also you need a SOIC8 SOP8 Clip for in-circuit programming. If you interesting here are links: CH341A Programmer and SOIC8 SOP8 Flash Chip IC Test Clip In-circuit Programm. If you have questions, feel free to contact.

Laptop: HP Pavilion DV7-3135ER
BIOS Version: F1.D
Here are screenshots:
[Image: 9289382_m.jpg][Image: 9289383_m.jpg][Image: 9289381_m.jpg][Image: 9289384_m.jpg]

Now I'm using modded BIOS (ver. F1.D) with whitelist removed: HP_DV6_DV7_INTEL_sp50586_NWL

Please help me to unhide menus in System configuration tab, and swap Advanced and Power options with Diagnostics and Security tabs respectively. Thanks in advance!))

Hi Netman25,

I have a DV7-3190eg with the same BIOS like you have ( sp48953 (F.1C) and sp50586 (F.1D) ).
I'm looking into modding my own BIOS, to obtain both the Whitelisting, and Advanced tab.

I only have not found a way to perform a Brick Recovery for my pc.
(e.g. I tried to follow: http://donovan6000.blogspot.fr/2013/06/i...overy.html , but I suspect my ROM is named wrong)
Are you able to perform a BIOS Recovery?

I'm planning to add WLAN Whitelisting (104) to sp48953_AHCI_VT_MoreOptions_ByCamiloml, but prefer to have BIOS Recovery working first.
