Hi, I have the same laptop and I have the 99CN24WW version of the bios. This unlocked version is for that version? What things can I do with the unlocked version?

Thanks!

DON'T USE Bios Mod for different users as It will cause a CLONE Laptop and
probably Brick (SVP or Settings) !

use this tool run It as Admin and upload here the result fle :

Use AIDA64 (cracked version to get Full Report) and make a report too !

Hey!
I'd like to unlock my system's InsydeH2O bios so I can access all the different pages and options (and also whitelist disable would be great!)
As an anecdote, I remember a week ago something happened (random?) right after installing Kali Linux on my laptop and i was able to access the advanced options until I rebooted back into my system. I wasn't ever able to replicate it, sadly.

Anyways:

here is the .rom file created by the backup tool:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/fxg61q

here is the Universal BIOS Backup results .rar:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/14egnu

EDIT: here's a screenshot of my current BIOS options:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/me0fnq

I also have an older version of the BIOS file (Y40-70_99CN24WW) for my laptop that I can potentially downgrade to (or post another new .rom/results.rar after the downgrade) in order to make this thing work.

Thanks for the help! I'll donate.

Error 280 !
Try to downgrade to Bios v.99CN24WW

http://rghost.net/6LWWJ7jM8

Then redo the result file, unpack It using winRar v.520 or above and check errors !

Cool!

No more error 280 after the downgrade!
Here's the new results.rar from Universal BIOS Backup:

Here's the new .rom file from Backup Tool:

Hey there BDMaster!

Thanks,
I tried to flash the new BIOS rom and followed the steps to the letter,
however, it didn't let me flash, here's two screenshots:

https://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/Hpoe...0wcNTLXobA

What do you think? Smile

Also, I tried to flash in Legacy mode, not UEFI, since UEFI didn't recognize my bootable USB which is formated as FAT32 and is 3.8 gigs with Rufus.
Here are its contents:

I don't understand ? You PRESSED ENTER KEY to continue ?
Error 28 It's normal and It's possible to bypass using prr.exe etc.
Just PRESS ENTER KEY to continue then if Error 28 will reshowed We get an issue !
Let me know
Regards

Try Sleep Bug Too :

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Let me know
Regards
