Here's my situation.
I bought an adapter to use a desktop graphics card "EXP GDC BEAST". I pulled my WiFi card and hooked everything up. Cannot boot. No error message, no video signal, just black screen. Now ive learned about the HP whitelist preventing me from using this adapter with my pci-e.
I'm hoping this will do the trick. Programming is far above me, i am not afraid to learn, but if i had the money to replace my laptop after i brick it then i would just build a computer.
HP Pavilion m6-1035dx
My bios version is F.12, according to hp support the latest version is F.36, not sure if that matters or if there is any benefit to upgrading for me at this point.
Regardless i did not update the BIOS just in case. I remember reading a thread where BDMaster said that after F.28 it was impossible to remove BIOS whitelist or it fails... I cant seem to locate the thread so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
I've checked the BIOS repository but could not find what i needed.
Any help is appreciated, I am totally willing to donate to both the individual and the forum.
Thank you
