[REQUEST] HP Pavilion 14-v066br hidden options/tab unlock
#11
Update: Apparently I can't downgrade, I can only reinstall the current Rev.

What I tried:
-Installed Windows 8.1 to see if the "Update" option is available in the software (it isn't).
-Make a recovery USB and turn on holding Windows key + B (capslock is blinking but after several minutes, it doesn't boot, so I just restarted, but it did nothing).

Now, what can be done? There is a way to flash through DOS on boot?

Wow, that looks like something out of my capacity.

Could be possible to change the version value, so the software/bios doesn't just ignores it, as it recognizes as equivalent/new?

Thanks for the help btw!

So, no way to edit the version of the F.07 (the one you uploaded) to something higher or equivalent of F.42? (sorry I'm asking again because I got  a bit confused lol)

I managed to downgrade to F.36, F.34 and F.33. I would guess there is no way to downgrade further having +F.33 (by its description). Well, not that mathers.
I guess I'm out of luck. =(
Thank you!

What is its description ?
Can You explain It better ?
Regards

P.S. into F.12 is missing this Model 02292 F.33 so if You have Model 2292 You are right !

P.S. into F.12 is missing this Model 02292 F.33 so if You have Model 2292 You are right !

By description I was refering the details on HP drivers page regarding F.33. It is the only Rev. that have this in its details:
"NOTE: HP strongly recommends promptly transitioning to this updated BIOS version which supersedes all previous releases."

So changes added with F.33 prevents me from downgrading more. Making that Rev. the bottom line

My system board ID is 2280

FD#04=PCI,0,0,0,2C,FFFFFFFF,2280 103C, 0227D F33.BIN,,HSW_U.ini

So your Bios model is 02280 and Bios file is 0227D

I don't think You cannot Downgrade to previous Bios, but if You tried . . .
Then Only SPI PGM + Clip can solve this !
