ASRock 775XFire-eSATA2 (Intel 945PL) - Core2 Support request

Hello guys,

i have been given a box of 12 working ASRock 775XFire-eSATA2 Motherboards that came out of old school computers.
Unfortunately these otherwise nice boards have two very extreme restrictions that make them pretty much useless for me:

1. The only CPUs supported are Celeron D, Penium 4 and Pentium D
2. Only 2GB of DDR2 are Supported

The board uses the Intel 945PL Chipset.

I started looking around and it seems that Gigabyte does have a couple Mainboards with the same Chipset that do support C2D CPUs and 4GB of DDR2.

It's hardware incompatibility. Only new revision - 775XFire-eSATA2+ supports Conroe core.
