Hi mate,
Your Bios is original and not modified !
You have to use an LiveUSB Win7 like Hireen's Boot CD or DLC.Boot.2015
Then Boot form USB and flash the Bios Mod form Win7 !
I prepared a version based on FPT to use from Pure DOS so
Use RUFUS tool to Format as Fat32 an USB Stick then copy all files
from modified folder into the USB Stick and go into Bios Setup to
Disable Secure Boot and Set Bios Legacy USB Boot !
Boot form USB and execute this command :

Flash.bat

Let me know

Hi,
I downloaded the new executable. I ran the Rufus tool and created a bootable USB with Freedos. Then, I ran the Flash.bat from the USB and ended up with errors.
Error 201: [FPT.exe] cannot be run on the current platform. Please contact vendor.  Please see attached screenshot.
After this I created a bootable win 7 disk with Rufus and ran the command tool. It gave a similar error.  I then used the old package you had posted earlier.  Same issue.
After that, I created a Hiren's Boot CD.  Selected the "Run Dos programs" option and ran the  program.  Same type of error.
IS there something I am not doing right.  I feel bad to have to bug you so many times.  I really appreciate your efforts to help me out.  Thanks a million.

Hi mate,
You made wrong !!!
That Bios Mod is not for DOS Pure but to run under Windows env. into a CLI
window !!!
I am sorry but Windows10 create a loto of issue so I suggested to get a LiveUSB
Win7 and run the Bios Mod from USB not into DOS Wink
So find Hireen Boot Cd with Win7 Support and download It then Create a LiveUSB Stick
and boot from It (take the Bios Mod unpacked on your HD C: ) and then run it
from LiveUSB Win7 !

First: Nice work! Big Grin

I am a Linux only user and wondering about how to get this bios mod to work with the Lenovo boot cd. I extracted the bootable .img from the 83uj28us.iso (T420 v1.46) with the geteltorito script and put it on a usb drive with dd. So now I have this structure:
Code:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 clyde clyde 58 Feb 5 2013 AUTOEXEC.BAT
-rwxr-xr-x 1 clyde clyde 54654 Dez 31 1993 COMMAND.COM
-rw-r--r-- 1 clyde clyde 123 Apr 15 2009 CONFIG.SYS
drwx------ 3 clyde clyde 2048 Jul 3 2013 FLASH
-rw-r--r-- 1 clyde clyde 14160 Nov 18 1994 HIMEM.SYS
-r-xr-xr-x 1 clyde clyde 40758 Dez 31 1993 IBMBIO.COM
-r-xr-xr-x 1 clyde clyde 37174 Dez 31 1993 IBMDOS.COM
-rw-r--r-- 1 clyde clyde 12663 Apr 23 1999 RAMDRIVE.SYS
drwx------ 2 clyde clyde 2048 Mai 10 2013 $RECYCLE.BIN
drwx------ 2 clyde clyde 2048 Jun 13 2013 Recycled
drwx------ 4 clyde clyde 2048 Apr 4 2008 System Volume Information
-rw-r--r-- 1 clyde clyde 9349 Dez 31 1993 WINA20.386
The bios mod structure looks kind of similar, but I am not sure which parts are the modified ones Huh :
Code:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 clyde clyde    9216 Mär  8  2010 206A2.PAT

-rw-rw-r-- 1 clyde clyde  863736 Jul  9  2013 WINUPTP.EXE
It would be very nice if you could tell me which files I have to copy on the usb drive to get it work! Or maybe you have got a better idea how to flash a modded bios on a Linux only machine. Blush

Thanks in advance
