Hi,
I would like to get my newly bought Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 to function which is mounted in my laptop. I have currently disabled wireless card in BIOS, in order to get my computer running (as it would detect that network card is unauthorized).
Manufacturer: Lenovo
Model: y50-70 20378
Bios revision: 9ECN44WW (V3.04)
Link to report aswell as bios-backup: http://rghost.net/7jHBK87Ht
Many thanks in advance!

You have to follow this step :
1. Downgrade to 1.13 or 1.14
2. Boot to Windows
3. Use Sleep Bug to flash Bios Mod
4. Flash using this mode :
Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :
cd \
cd modified
fptw -f bios.bin -bios
(or fptw64 for Windows x64)
Let me know
Regards

Have You Downgraded to version 1.13 or 1.14 before doing the Flash ?
It will unlock the Eeprom Chip , then using Sleep Mode We can bypass Error 28.
Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),

Yes BDMaster, I did downgrade to 1.14, maybe I failed sleep mode-process somehow or it's simply not possible to do this in Windows (in my case).
However, I formatted USB-stick with bootable DOS in addition with your folder "modified", I got same error message when I ran flash.bat but I pressed enter once again and now I have unlocked BIOS and functional intel-wifi 5ghz with 300mbps instead of 72 mbps.
Thanks a lot BDMaster!! Donate has been given.

I have unlocked bios with this tool. Then undervolted CPU and now laptop won't start. Keyboard led comes on, fan starts spinning, but there is no signal from display. Already tried removing battery, cmos battery, pushing power button for 30 sec, but no help. Is there any way to force bios reset or is there clear cmos jumper on this laptop ?
