(MD5: 1D684ED95D21B9BABEE82077AA9CC67D)- If you flashed BIOS with this modified BIOS image, please take pictures of the unlocked BIOS options & post it here. No need to take pictures of all unlocked options. Just two to three pictures only. I recorded 33 downloads for the BIOS_13 modified BIOS but no one have ever give any feedback. Please show your appreciation by giving your feedback. Thank you.
- There are several unlocked options for overclocking. Please be careful with them. Probably for overclocking, you'll need combination of the modified BIOS with Intel XTU or ThrottleStop.
Quote:NOTES: I have unlocked other menu as well. Please be careful with it. If your computer doesn't boot after changing something in the sub-menu, you will need to disconnect the CMOS/RTC battery to reset CMOS back to default. To do so, you will need to open your notebook casing.
Please make sure your notebook can recover corrupted BIOS with CRISIS disk before flashing BIOS with this modified BIOS image. I will not responsible for any problem. Good luck.
Dear
kizwan,
I must thank you for many reasons (even after so many years):
1. Your modded BIOS works wonderfully on my laptop running multi OS all 64-bits: Windows 7, Windows 10 (see point 3), Ubuntu 15, etc.
2. I can finally overclock my CPU; I am still busy trying to find optimal values after having replaced the original old thermal compound.
Your modded BIOS indirectly enabled some options in "Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU)", that before were greyed out (locked), so testing gets easy.
3. with original BIOS_14 I could enable SLI mode for my 2 old graphic cards (nVidia GeForce 285M) only in Windows 7; in Windows 10 (and in Windows 8.1), the 2nd card had continuosly a yellow triangle giving a conflict error code 12 (SLI was therefore not possible)
; but, thanks to your modded BIOS
, I could now change some new settings in: "
Advanced + Advanced Chipset Control + PCI HotPlug Resources Changed Sub-Menu" with following values: Enabled +
1 gap + i/o
4096 + memory
32MB + pre-fetch
64MB (see attachments).
By doing that, the yellow triangle has finally disappeared and I can finally enjoy both cards working in
SLI mode also under Windows 10 64bit! ...just wonderful.
