@halogensarchitect, I didn't receive your email, I'm sorry. I just got a PM and came back here to check. Looks like the Jmicron OROM used by the OP can't fit into the small space of an R3E bios file, the module becomes too large when decompressed. Unfortunately, only the LAN module can effectively be updated vs. my latest ZioMod, and as far as I know it doesn't bring any performance improvement or bugfix for this board. There's nothing to do, this glorious board is obsolete today, I can't help you guys anymore.

thanks for the reply and a real shame this bios cant be fixed in its current state, but maybe you could just remove the offending jmicron update and use the old jmicron orom from your bios? , cause the rest of the modules have been updated and some such as rst orom downgraded due to the more recent rst oroms not being fully compatible with this board and hence giving quite a performance degradation to storage, according to fox, id appreciate it

ZioGTS, could you confirm the following in your attached above bios:
Intel ICH10R SATA RAID Controller: v11.2.0.1527 (TRIM mod)
Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller - Bios: v1.0.0.1038
Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller - Firmware: v2.2.0.1125b
Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller - Bootloader: v1.0.1.0002b
JMicron JMB36X Controller: v1.08.01 to v1.07.28
Intel 82567V-2 Gigabit Network: v1.5.43
SLIC 2.1: ASUS (SSV3/MMtool method)
I am still getting the marvell controller, version 1033 when I flash using your bios attached above.
It would be nice to have the above controllers with the JMicron a working version.
Many thanks in advance.

update > ok seems i was too quick about it , ive flashed the new bios and am still getting the dreaded
message>
no enough space to copy pci option ROM (05:00:00) , while having AHCI activated for my marvell controller and the intel controller set to RAID , so my dvd drive attached to my jmicron controller isnt being picked up on boot anymore only in windows

So the Jmicron OROM v1.08.01 was not the problem... Uhm... I really don't have any clue on what's causing it, then. You could try opening a thread on Winraid forum, there's really plenty of bios experts over there too. Sorry I couldn't solve your issue... well at least I tried

im sorry to have to rely on you for this , but since you the guys over at Winraid forum better than me , maybe do me the favor and ask around to get this fixed , id appreciate it alot ZioGTS
update> well ive been testing out my system with the current bios and the 11.2 rst orom with its according driver has memory leaks in w7 while using hwinfo64, aka you get stutters every few seconds in your OS , the only solution is to upgrade the rst drivers to a newer version that uses the dual driver
solution which all drivers use beyond 11.5 , that fixes it , so it seems ill just stick with your old bios ZioGTS , thanks for trying to fix this bios thou , but yeah its pretty much useless , thanks again
